How can your non-profit participate
in Riverfest as a fundraising opportunity or help let the
community know who you are and what you do? If you intend on having
an information booth or an event at Riverfest, all
we ask from you is:
|
|
- An application (available soon), and approval by the committee. What you make as
a non-profit is yours to keep.
|
- Your event is located on-site at
one of the official event venues.
|
- Your event is unique (to avoid
duplication). First-come, first-served to carve out
your own niche event.
|
- You are responsible for meeting all
applicable laws and regulations for your type of fundraiser
(health department, charitable gaming or raffle licenses, sales tax
requirements, etc.) The Chamber takes no
responsibility, nor liability for these events.
|
- You may not use the Riverfest name, logo, or any representation of
Paddles the Dog in any of your literature, advertising or sales without
prior written consent from the Portland Area Chamber of Commerce.
These license agreements must be presented to the Board of Directors for
action, so please leave at least 6 weeks lead time before you commit any
money or resources to using these reserved rights.
|
In order to say you are a "Riverfest
event" you must agree to these simple rules.
An application for participation, along with an application for licensed use
of trademarked material, will be available soon.
